Emma serves with the Roots team in Edinburgh, Scotland. She hopes to change students’ lives by creating a welcoming, accepting, and safe space where they feel supported and get to experience God’s love and explore questions about faith and life.

Emma is originally from Kerala, India, but grew up in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She moved to Edinburgh in 2018 to study Sociology at the University of Edinburgh where she came into contact with Roots in her first year. Becoming a part of this community shaped her university experience and changed her relationship with God and ministry, igniting a desire to serve and share with students the unconditional love that God has for us all.
