Andrew and Kate serve with the Globalscope campus ministry Roots in Edinburgh, where they seek to show God’s love to university students through their actions, words and relationships.
Andrew grew up in Fitzgerald, Ga., and graduated from Georgia Tech in 2010 with a degree in computer science. Kate was born in England, and moved to Roswell, Ga. at age 11. She graduated from Georgia Tech in 2010 with a degree in industrial design.
Both were very involved with the Christian Campus Fellowship (CCF) in college, where they met, and where God became an important part of their lives. As students, they served for five years in the ministry in various leadership roles, and studied abroad with Globalscope: Andrew in Spain and Kate in Chile. After they graduated they spent an intern year at CCF and were married in 2011. They joined the team in Scotland in 2013. They have two sons: Ozzie (2015) and Max (2018).
