Becca Schafer

Becca serves people with disabilities and their families in the Chiang Mai, Thailand, area. She works with Hope Home, a foster home in Chiang Mai for children with disabilities, providing daily care, love and guidance in a family setting. She works alongside Hope Home to demonstrate the love of God through Christian witness and care of children with disabilities to promote the maximum development for each child with the aim that each child is accepted into a permanent family setting. She also works to empower families of children with disabilities to continue caring for their children through the provision of practical and emotional support as well as a respite program. She integrates spiritual principles and biblical storytelling into the daily life and services of Hope Home as well as into staff trainings and community outreach.
