Raelyn serves in Kenya with the CMF team that works alongside Missions of Hope International (MOHI). Since 2018, she has helped to develop programs that holistically address the health needs of more than 30,000 students, their parents, and the community at-large.
Raelyn developed a heart for service from an early age. She holds two bachelor’s degrees in teaching and nursing, and a master's in public health. Prior to becoming a missionary, she worked as a registered nurse at the University of Colorado Hospital and went on three short-term medical mission trips to Kenya, which showed Raelyn that she has the unique skills to help people suffering from preventable and easily treatable diseases.
Alongside her Kenyan coworkers, she continues to implement diverse health programs that help transform lives physically, mentally, and spiritually. She also plans and oversees the logistics for visiting medical and dental teams, so that short-term mission trips can leave a long-term impact. Raelyn blends the gospel and health care with the hope that people will know and follow Jesus, while leading healthier and happier lives.
