Joe and Kim minister on CMF’s church catalyst team in Kenya. They serve in the areas of disciple-making and leadership development.

Joe’s focus has been nurturing disciple-making movements (DMM) primarily in partnership with Community Christian Church (CCC). CCC is the result of church planting efforts begun by CMF in Kenya in 1977. Since then, these efforts have resulted in 400 self-governing churches. As of May 2024, the DMM network with which Joe works numbers 250 groups with 905 members.

Kim serves the CMF team assisting with logistical and administrative needs. In 2019 she had began teaching biology at West Nairobi School. This will become a full-time role for her during the 2024-2025 school year.

Joe and Kim have two children: Sophia (2010) and Theo (2012).
