A Basic Utility Vehicle (BUV) is a simple, low-weight, three-wheel vehicle that is easy to operate, maintain and repair. Designed for rugged terrain, these vehicles are able to serve the vital needs of a community, such as transporting the sick and hauling food and water.
BUV Tanzania is now ready to make a big leap forward. Our goal is raise $450,000 to become sustainable. The next build will produce 50 BUVs and we believe that with your help, BUV Tanzania has the potential to eventually produce 240 units per year and become the hub BUV factory for Africa! This will provide more new jobs, increased economic opportunities and the necessary resources to transform lives and communities. All profits from the BUV Tanzania business remain in Africa and are used for church-planting and ministry initiatives.
