Steve and Kay Carpenter work in the greater Mexico City metropolitan area planting churches, training men and women in leadership roles and developing the Eagles Community Center.
Kay serves as the Mexico Field team leader for church planting and urban poor ministries. She works with CMF churches to plan the annual women’s retreat. Kay also develops relationships through community outreach, such as the English Club, support groups, and prayer walks. She also enjoys teaching and mentoring.
Steve is a natural at meeting people and starting conversations. He focuses on friendship evangelism and Discovery Bible studies. He also oversees the Eagles Community Center, preaches and teaches by invitation and serves as a consultant and mentor.
The Carpenters joined the Mexico team in 1995. Currently they are involved in a community in northern Mexico City, where they are forming Bible studies that will one day become a church.
The Carpenters are the parents of two adult children.
