Sophie Anthony

Sophie Anthony is a campus minister at La Ruta, the Globalscope ministry in Montevideo, Uruguay. In a context where many university students have few opportunities to explore faith, La Ruta serves as a bridge between the university community and the local Church by creating welcoming spaces where students can build meaningful relationships and hear the Gospel.

As part of her ministry, Sophie hosts weekly English conversation classes as an outreach to university students, leads Alpha (an introductory course exploring the Christian faith) and disciples students through one-on-one mentoring. She also helps organize and lead La Ruta's two weekly events: Trivia Lunch on Tuesdays and La Merienda on Thursdays, both of which foster community and create opportunities for spiritual conversations.
