Oksana Specht serves in Ethiopia, teaching at Bingham Academy, an International Christian School in Addis Ababa. The school population is a diverse group of Ethiopians, children of diplomats, and children of missionaries from around the world.
Alongside this work, Oksana leads a program to connect with high school girls from the local community called Yetesfa. The goal of the program is to provide a safe space for the girls to connect, laugh, and learn English, the Bible, and career readiness skills.
In the United States, she studied Special Education and Early Education. Through various mission trips, including to North Africa and Kenya, she developed a passion for teaching overseas. This prompted her to join CMF and the team that works in Ethiopia.
