Mike and Jill are preparing to serve in Kenya with CMF alongside partners Missions of Hope International (MOHI) in the area of Economic Empowerment. Mike looks forward to leveraging his background in leadership, finance, and business to support the implementation and development of their Economic Empowerment initiatives. He will focus on providing insight into the areas of microfinance, skills training, and sustainability projects. Jill will combine her passions for skills training, teaching, hospitality, and working with partners from the US as she serves to coordinate MOHI's partnership engagement initiatives. As they serve, they are excited to come alongside of and encourage Kenyans as God works through MOHI to transform lives holistically.
The couple first met at Dickinson College, have been married over 30 years, and are the parents of three grown children. With their years of experience in the financial industry, teaching, and operating a baking business, along with extensive short term mission work in Kenya, they believe God has been preparing the way for this chapter of their lives. They are grateful for the opportunity to serve on the mission field full-time and partner with MOHI, an organization that has deeply impacted their lives for many years.
Mike and Jill are filled with expectancy and are eager to build upon relationships they have in communities throughout Kenya. They hope to reach the field in the spring of 2026.
