Michael and Olivia Grimm

Olivia (Shank) and Michael serve in Mexico City, Mexico. Using the gifts and talents that God has given them, they have the unique opportunity of serving on different teams. Olivia serves with the Marketplace Ministries team, and Michael serves on the Church Catalyst team. More details on their specific ministries can be found below:

The Marketplace Ministries team fights poverty by empowering local entrepreneurs with faith-driven and professional business training through their association, Emprende 31. In this way, the team equips entrepreneurs with the passion and tools to live like Jesus and multiply His blessings to those around them, paving the way for discipleship and economic transformation in Mexico City within the world of business and beyond. Olivia’s responsibilities include coordinating team operations, providing mentoring and coaching, and facilitating training courses.

The Church Catalyst team seeks to see a spiritual, disciple making movement through church planting initiatives. One of the strategies is through a local community center, Manos de Vida (Hands of Life). Manos de Vida provides locally lead programs to edify and meet the needs of the surrounding community and serve as a bridge to the local church, Agua de Vida (Water of Life). Michael’s responsibilities include serving as the Team Leader, facilitating Bible studies within the community, preaching and teaching in the local church including running the youth ministry, and overseeing program and volunteer development at the community center. Michael also has the privilege of coordinating internship experiences in REACH and Exchange.
