Mariana Luna Carrillo serves with CMF International’s Marketplace Ministries team in Mexico City, where she equips and walks alongside business leaders as they integrate their faith with their work and influence their communities through their businesses.
She holds a degree in Commercial Relations and a master’s degree in Psychotherapy, and brings 15 years of entrepreneurial experience in Mexico. Her passion for community development and entrepreneurship is rooted in her conviction that God has given each person unique gifts and abilities to serve others and help communities flourish.
Mariana is the co-founder of Emprende 31, a Mexican nonprofit organization (NGO) that trains, connects, and supports entrepreneurs as they build sustainable businesses grounded in biblical principles, operational excellence, and purpose. Through its Aspire program, now in its 12th generation with more than 70 graduates, she helps entrepreneurs develop their potential, create wealth responsibly, and live out their faith in every area of life, including their businesses and families.
Mariana is married to Hugo Fortis, who shares her passion for entrepreneurship and doing business God’s way. Together with their daughter, Samantha, they long to help build a community of entrepreneurs whose businesses contribute to the flourishing of families, cities, and society.
