Makenzie Tinkler (Global Residency)

Global Residency is an opportunity to live and serve alongside CMF teams around the world while being intentionally formed for a life of ministry.

Makenzie will serve with our team in Mexico City who partners through local churches to reach communities through holistic ministry. About 65 percent of Mexicans are categorized as poor; in Mexico City, that’s more than 16 million people. The biggest need is not just economic but also social poverty. There is a huge need for holistic transformation because of the stigma that comes from living in a poor neighborhood and the accompanying family dysfunction and drug and alcohol addictions. Churches offer a variety of clubs and ministries for children, youth and women, as well as adult Bible studies, mission trips, and community outreach programs. Several churches host community centers that offer continuing education, teaching English and skills training.

Your partnership with Makenzie will help her serve as the hands and feet of Jesus in 2027.
