Project La Paz 2026 – Hope Across Borders

The gift will still show up in your account records, but the missionary won't know who gave it.

This year, Project La Paz will unite hearts and hands from Chile, Uruguay, and Mexico as we travel to Rivera, a unique city on the border between Uruguay and Brazil. Once again, we step out together — to serve, to learn, and to be part of what God is doing in the most unexpected places.

Our mission is simple, yet deeply meaningful: to bring tangible expressions of God’s love to communities in need. During our time in Rivera, we will partner with two local ministries to serve both the church and the city around it.

One of our projects will focus on extending a local church, creating a new space that will be used for children’s ministry, Bible classes, and training workshops for Sunday school teachers and community members. This extension will become a place of light — a safe haven where children can learn, grow, and experience God’s love.

We will also join the ministry “Tu Vida Vale” (Your Life Matters), a beautiful expression of the gospel in action. This ministry lives out every command of Jesus through compassion — serving those living in poverty, addiction, and violence. Together, we will help prepare and serve weekly meals for over 250 families, and we’ll take part in a children’s program that welcomes 30 kids each week for Bible study, love, and nourishment.

Our team will also go out into the streets, bringing 100 warm dinners to people experiencing homelessness — reminding them that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.

To make this mission possible, our goal is to raise $7,000 USD. These funds will cover:

- Construction materials to extend the local church.

- Lunches for 250 families who are part of Tu Vida Vale.

- 100 dinners for people living on the streets.

- Preparation workshops and training sessions for Sunday school teachers.

- Exterior painting for the Tu Vida Vale ministry building.

- 50 school supply kits for the children who attend the weekly programs.

- Replacement of tableware for the children — 50 new cups, plates, forks, and knives to serve them with care and dignity.

- Preparation of 50 hygiene backpacks for people in prison, each including personal care items, a Bible, and Christian literature — a gesture of grace and hope for those often forgotten.

All food and lodging costs for our students will be personally covered by each participant. Every donation will directly support the work on the ground and the people we serve together.

Every gift — no matter its size — becomes part of God’s story of redemption. Your support helps us build spaces of hope, restore dignity, and remind people that their lives truly matter.

Together, we can bring peace where there has been pain, light where there has been darkness, and hope that crosses borders.

Thank you for being part of this story — and for helping us make Project La Paz 2026 a reality.
