Kip Lines, Ph.D., serves as the Executive Director of CMF, overseeing the mission and vision of the organization. As the leader of CMF’s strategic and operational planning, he sees that all of our missionaries and staff are empowered to accomplish the mission that God has given us. Kip represents CMF in the missions community, in churches and among our faithful partners. Your gifts to the Executive Director’s Fund are vital to help ensure the continuity of core ministry support and make it possible for crucial mission efforts to move forward.
Kip earned degrees from Milligan College and Emmanuel Christian Seminary and received his Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Katy, served in pastoral church ministry at Hopwood Christian Church, Tennessee, for four years, then worked alongside Turkana Christians in northern Kenya for nine years with CMF. He served as professor of Intercultural Studies at Hope International in Fullerton, California, from 2012-2017.
Kip and Katy have two sons, Patrick and Brian, and live in the Englewood community of Indianapolis. They attend Englewood Christian Church, where Katy serves on the pastoral team.
