CMF team members Joel and Rachel Williams work alongside indigenous churches to reach youth for Christ in Kenya. They collaborate to develop youth leaders, curriculum and conferences throughout the country.
They are also instrumental in the formation of the Kenyan National Youth Conference, which provides training for youth leaders, engages unreached youth with the gospel, and equips Christian teens with discipleship tools to reach and disciple their friends. This conference has slowly grown to include multiple locations throughout the country. Their vision is to equip East Africa with youth ministry resources by making these conferences available throughout Kenya and surrounding countries.
The student internship program reaches lost teens and demonstrates healthy youth ministry practices among their leaders. It targets the neediest students in their ministry areas, often orphans, and provides school sponsorship, one-on-one discipleship, and opportunities to participate in a variety of trainings hosted by the ministry. These interns are paired with, shadow, and are discipled by Kenyan leaders in their areas.
Your gifts to this project will help sponsor an intern, at a cost of $1,000 per year, or a youth conference, which costs $2,500 per year. This covers school fees, school materials, travel costs, housing and all other ministry materials.
Donations to this fund are used where needed most.
