June Johnson

Prior to the war, June served in Ukraine for 24 years. Currently she is in Germany, providing medical help to Ukrainian refugee patients and support enables June to continue serving in Germany as long as she is needed, as well as providing for ministry needs and evangelistic outreaches in Ukraine.

While physically in Germany, the bulk of her ministry budget is sent to Ukraine to support seven nationally run ministries. June had established relationships to these ministries with orphans and special needs, high risk families, medical care and supplies, three churches, and a Christian rehab center for spinal and neck injuries.

Outreaches, day camps, retreats, Vacation Bible School, food bags – it all seems crazy to do in the midst of a war. Yet now, like never before, Christians are the first responders to so many needs. It is an honor to equip the hands and feet of Christ in Ukraine as they show and share God’s saving love.
