Javi was born into a Christian family, and accepted Jesus at the age of three. Originally from Viña del Mar, she spent much of her childhood in Puerto Williams, but moved back to Viña in high school. Throughout her life, she has served in her churches’ youth ministry and worship ministry.

She is studying nursing in Viña and was invited to El Oasis by one of her church friends. In January 2023, she was part of Proyecto La Paz. This was a group of students from Mexico, Uruguay, and Chile who built a house in Acuña, Mexico, and then later spent a week at El Pozo in Puebla, serving the community there. She returned to El Pozo in January 2024 to be an exchange student.
