Every month, more than a thousand people pass through the doors of CMF’s clinic in Ivory Coast. Some of these patients are treated for acute medical conditions such as malaria, pneumonia and typhoid fever. Many receive essential perinatal care through maternity services, childbirth, and well child visits. However, most of the patients received at this clinic are living with HIV/AIDS.

The clinic plays a vital role in HIV patient care, serving over 3,000 HIV-positive patients. Recognized as one of the country’s premier programs, the Regional HIV Center coordinates critical services to 19,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in the region—including 11,000 women and 3,000 children. Since 2016, this clinic has helped reduce regional HIV prevalence from 35% to 3.9%, offering hope and healing to thousands.

Gifts received will help subsidize medication and equipment for the operation of the clinic, as well as assist in ancillary ministries such as support groups, abstinence clubs, Muslim background Bible story telling groups, community education and outreach, and free HIV testing and counseling. Infusing the hope of Christ throughout the care process, the clinic ministers to the population of Abengourou and surrounding villages, transforming lives through the compassion of Christ.
