Garrett graduated from Georgia Tech in 2012 with a degree in business administration, and then earned a Master of Divinity degree from Emmanuel Christian Seminary in 2017. Schyler graduated with a degree in political communication from Georgia State University in 2014. They were both part of Georgia Tech's Christian Campus Fellowship during undergrad, where they met and fell madly in love. They got married in 2018 and moved to Mexico in 2019.
Since 2019, Garrett and Schyler have seen amazing things at El Pozo, the campus ministry in Puebla, Mexico. They outlasted the pandemic and have seen an incredible increase of students since then. They often describe students as coming physically hungry to an event, for free dinner, only to realize they're also spiritually hungry. With their team, the purpose of El Pozo is to love students, know Jesus, and change the world.
