The Harpers will serve with the Globalscope campus ministry in Valencia, Spain called En Vivo. As the son of a campus minister, Donovan witnessed firsthand how God uses campus ministry to transform the lives of university students. Through involvement at Auburn Christian Fellowship, Erin experienced the transformative power that these Christ-centered communities have in the lives of university students. Their paths crossed while serving with Globalscope in Germany and, after marrying in 2016, have been serving together as campus ministers since 2017.

Donovan and Erin began to look towards a new field during the summer of 2022 and felt God’s undeniable pull towards Valencia, Spain. It is the third largest city in Spain with a population of ca. 790,000 with nearly 100,000 students. The Harpers’ goal is to model Jesus in meeting students exactly where they are and help them experience God's unconditional love through Christ-centered community.
