Thailand has just experienced the worst flooding they’ve had in decades. The entire country is feeling the effects of the water, with Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai getting the worst of it. The rain is endless, runoff from the mountains is dangerous, and the largest river in Thailand, that runs straight through our city, has overflowed its banks.
The overflowing river and flash floods from the mountains have destroyed roads, businesses and whole neighborhoods. People are homeless, without food, and without resources. Everyone is working together to recover and in places where water has started to recede, clean up and garbage removal has begun.
Please join us as we assist in clean-up efforts, provide food and meals, connect families with safe shelter, and provide replacement household items (beds, linens, kitchenware) to those who have lost everything.
Thank you for your prayers and your contributions for disaster relief in Chiang Mai!
