Belén participated in church with her family throughout her childhood and adolescence. In 2015, she started going to the Globalscope community El Oasis in Santiago, Chile, and fell in love with it immediately. She felt at home and surrounded by friends which gave her an interest in being a part of the ministry long term.
Belén worked throughout her university years as a volunteer at the Marist Foundation where she was in charge of volunteers nationwide and helped develop camps for children at social risk. She finished her Business and Marketing degree in 2020.
Her life was deeply impacted during a Globalscope service trip in Bolivia, and on that trip, she felt called to serve with the Globalscope in Mexico, El Pozo.
Belén enjoys sharing and connecting with the college students of Mexico and showing them the love of Christ through the community and the many weekly activities at El Pozo.
