Luz Amaya

Hi, I’m Luz. Originally from Venezuela, I moved to Chile in 2018 with my mother and sister. After earning a degree as a pharmacy technician and working in healthcare for four years, I first came to El Oasis in 2022 looking for community and a place to practice my English. God used that season to transform my life and restore my faith in Him. In 2025, I joined the team as a full-time intern, walking alongside university students.

Today, I serve as a core team member in Viña del Mar, focusing on campus outreach, ministry among first-year students, digital communications, and hospitality. Following Jesus’ example of welcoming people around the table, I host weekly meals for students who are far from home, experiencing loneliness, or exploring faith. My desire is to create a warm and welcoming space where students can have honest conversations, find rest, and experience genuine connection.

I’m grateful to continue serving in this ministry and to invite others to be part of what God is doing through El Oasis—helping create spaces where university students can find community, encounter Jesus, and discover that they are not alone.
