Lauren serves with CMF Globalscope in campus ministry in Santiago, Chile. Through mission trips to Mexico, learning Spanish and getting to know Latin American culture, Lauren felt God’s call for international missions in a Spanish-speaking country. As she began to consider mission service and learned about El Oasis, she knew it would be a good fit.
Lauren graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2021 with a degree in Spanish and multimedia journalism. Her college years were shaped by her involvement with The Table campus ministry. Being part of a Christ-based community was a huge blessing in her spiritual growth, and she developed many close friendships at The Table. Now, she feels called to serve with international campus ministry so she can use her experiences to help other students grow, too.
Lauren served with Table by leading a small group, helping with worship and using her journalism skills to do videography. These are skills she now uses with El Oasis. She is excited to build relationships with students, disciple them and introduce them to a Christ-centered community while also experiencing campus ministry in a completely new culture and context.
