On Wednesdays at our free lunch event, we regularly run out of clean plates, food, and places to sit. This is good news and a good problem to have! It is also one of the reasons why we have been praying for and seeking out a larger ministry space, and why it feels particularly providential that our landlords approached us with an offer for exactly that: we are in the process of moving into a space in our same building that is twice the size and has the capacity for an industrial kitchen! With this answer to our prayers come bureaucratic obstacles and fundraising challenges. For the needed renovations and for outfitting the space to meet the needs of our community, we are looking to raise $50,000. This is a large goal, and we think it is worth it to invest in the stability of our community, to continue to offer welcoming spaces to students in the center of town, and to have a space that works with us and for us.
Thank you for considering a gift to help us take advantage of this huge opportunity. We are so grateful for the community of partners that make our work possible, and we are hopeful that this move will allow us to do that work sustainably into the future!
