Davicho is Mexican, born in Querétaro but is studying Communication and Public Relations at Universidad de las Américas Puebla, commonly known as UDLAP. He comes from a ministry background, being raised by his two missionary parents, along with four other siblings. After his parents got divorced, he underwent some rough times, trying to understand what he needed to do or believe.

Although Davicho had been involved in some type of ministry since a young age, he had moments in which he thought he would not like to serve in any ministry, but God constantly reminded him of the desire that he had to serve a community. It was during his search for something more to life that he was invited to El Pozo, our Globalscope campus ministry in Puebla. He has been involved in El Pozo for over a year and is now Cholulteca by heart.
