Clay is preparing to serve with Globalscope campus ministry in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he will join the team at Roots.
College ministry played a significant role in his spiritual journey. Although he grew up in the church, it wasn’t until his college years that Clay fully surrendered his life to Christ. Since then, he has spent the past 12 years in ministry—including 8 years as a youth pastor and 4 years serving with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). He is a graduate of Johnson University, earning his undergraduate degree in Youth Ministry and Church Leadership in 2019 and his Master’s degree in New Testament in 2025.
Clay has been married to his wife, Ashton, since 2018. Together, they share their home with three beloved pets: Edith, Mabel, and Myrtle.
Clay’s prayer for students in Scotland is that they would experience the love of Christ and come to understand their inherent value and purpose as those created in the image of God.
