Anna Thormodsgard

Anna serves with CMF in Ethiopia as part of a team seeking to build a community center that will serve the families who live at the garbage dump in the capital city of Addis Ababa. The goal of the community center is to empower families in that community by offering English classes, day care for working mothers, job skills, and gospel-centered soccer camps, all with discipleship being the focus.

Anna also works alongside the national Kristos Andinet Church among the Gumuz people. Primarily working with the women in Assosa, Anna teaches English classes to university women and does outreach to the mothers and children at the prison, while guiding Discovery Bible Studies in those communities.

After studying Math Education at Colorado State University, as well as doing Bible studies with international students on Colorado State's campus, Anna has a passion for education and for college ministry in an intercultural context.
