James serves with the Globalscope team in Bangkok, Thailand. An average week for him consists of spending time with students, language study, and preparing for events at Grapevine’s campus house. He loves developing friendships with Thai and other Southeast Asian students and introducing them to Jesus.

James began to feel a pull towards intercultural campus ministry while studying at the University of Georgia. An active member of UGA Christian Campus Fellowship, he heard about Globalscope from the staff at CCF. He wondered if international service could be part of God’s plan for him.

Spoiler alert: It was! He joined the Globalscope Thailand team in 2019 and looks forward to many more years of ambassadorial service (2 Corinthians 5:20).
