Companions for Hope

Companions for Hope is a Christian intentional collective of neighbors rooted in Summerfield, near the center of Birmingham. At its core, this missional group is committed to cultivating abundant community from the ground up through discipleship, friendship, and hospitality (being "neighbors on purpose"). We engage with and participate in the community through a wide array of meaningful activities and groups, notably those dealing with church life, urban agriculture, prison ministry and resettlement, neighborhood gatherings, homelessness, and cross-cultural mission and discipleship training.
