Joy Reks

Joy Reks is graduating from Milligan University in May of 2025 with a bachelor's degree in student ministry. Joy’s time in university held a significant part in forming her faith in confidence and reliance on the Lord. With a variety of experiences serving in the church, the Lord placed a love and desire on her heart to serve college-age students.

Joy was first introduced to CMF by her church and participated in CMF’s 8-week internship called REACH. She interned and served in Montevideo, Uruguay with the Globalscope team at La Ruta. The Lord tugged on Joy’s heart during her internship in Uruguay and quickly called her back to serve full time. Joy has gained a greater understanding and beauty of one-on-one discipleship through this ministry; mirroring the same relationship Jesus invited the disciples into. She is eager to share with others the ways Jesus has walked with her in her own life by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for college students.
