June Johnson

June Johnson faithfully served Christ since 1998 in Ukraine and later among Ukrainian refugees in Germany. Throughout her ministry, she devoted her life to caring for vulnerable people, strengthening local churches, supporting families in crisis, and sharing the hope of the gospel wherever God called her.

June passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. Even in her final days, she continued to encourage others, point people to Jesus, and advocate for the ministries and people she loved in Ukraine.

While serving in Germany, the majority of June's ministry support was directed to seven nationally led ministries in Ukraine. Through these partnerships, she helped provide care for orphans and children with special needs, support for high-risk families, medical care and supplies, local churches, and a Christian rehabilitation center for those recovering from spinal and neck injuries.

Today, those ministries continue their vital work in the midst of war. Through outreaches, day camps, retreats, Vacation Bible Schools, food distribution, medical assistance, and church-based ministries, they serve as the hands and feet of Christ to people facing tremendous hardship.
