Skye is preparing to serve with CMF in Tanzania. She will join the church catalyst team, where she will assist in empowering and equipping the previously trained church planters’ wives through the Women’s Ministry. She is currently pursuing her master's in clinical mental health counseling to gain therapeutic skills and techniques to facilitate group therapy among these women. Her training of these women will enable them to minister to those in their own churches, continuing the disciple-making movement already established in this ministry.
Skye had the unique opportunity to serve for 2 months in Tanzania in the summer of 2024, visiting with the church planters and serving alongside the worship team in several different ministry projects. She also got to work with the Maasai children in the child sponsorship program that provides impoverished kids with education, nutrition, and spiritual development. Her goal is to continue building upon these relationships and using the knowledge and skills God has blessed her with to serve the people of Tanzania.
Her love for worship music and cross-cultural ministry fits perfectly into the ministry context of Tanzania. It is clear that the Lord has been preparing her specifically for this work.
