Zane and Lydia will serve in Kenya on the CMF Church Catalyst Team. The team focuses on church planting, discipleship, leadership training, evangelism through community health, and rural medical care through eight established medical clinics with the Maasai and Turkana people.
Zane and Lydia are both registered nurses with five years of combined experience in a variety of healthcare fields, including labor and delivery, the intensive care unit, and home health. They will be based at Rift Valley Academy, a Christian boarding school that focuses on educating, developing, and nurturing missionary kids from across Africa.
At RVA, they will be in multiple roles, including serving as dorm parents, assisting in the student health clinic, discipling students, and leading Bible studies and outreach trips. While working at RVA, Zane and Lydia will serve alongside the Church Catalyst Team by participating in discipleship through Discovery Bible Study (DBS) and helping in the medical clinics among the Maasai people.
Zane and Lydia’s long-term vision is to develop their discipleship skills by working with the experienced Church Catalyst Team with the goal of starting a new CMF field among unreached people groups in the next few years.
